took the VX into BoT the other day to have a pre track day inpection, just in case there's something obviousto them but not to me. Glad i did as the front inside pads were worn to cigarette paper thickness - probably wouldn't have lasted getting to the track. Talk about getting your moneys worth.

can't you inspect yourself  pre -track inspection  getting better every minutes
couldn't be arse to correct the mistakes 0:P

don't confess to be an expert Fab. BoT knew the bits to pull and push on to see if anything was not right. They also are able to get under the car easier to see. I asked them to see if the HCBs especially showed any signs of stress ;)

Sounds like a wise move Steve. What have you had done? Might finally be time to break out the R1R's.

lots of stuff in progress but not ready to go on, new front mounted reservoir CC intank high flow pump to replace boot mounted tank, needs heater box out. test fit new tiny lightweight 4.5Kg battery (UPS SLA) test fit new auxillary water pump in series of heater box circuit, test fit new front rad spray pump tank and mist nozzles in crashbox, works well triggered by wiper spray test fit new small alternator front mounted engine bay measured and key reference points noted for B2x4 conversion check weighs with above and its well on the way to sub 800Kg and with a much better forward bias and cog basically with the above it shifts weight around and improves my diagonals, so I can run the front axle much better balanced for most UK circuits (clockwise) , and with the gearbox weight on the NSR this balances out better. :)

My car's not going to be ready in time so I am splitting the slot with Cliffie. Keeps us out of trouble if Cliffie and me are not out together, but that wont stop uyou and me having a play Dazza  You were flying at Anglesey, I was gutted not to get out there with you!!

Why are you struggling to get an AMM...? You'd be better off unplugging it for the trackday anyway!!!!

Nothing really, I just know a fair few things wont be 100% ready and I don't want to rush and take her out half arsed. I'd rather wait till she's hot to trot!!

Pulled 265bhp 240lbs on the rollers today though. Fuel pump was dying though. Engine is super sweet too

Cheers Joe, Vocky, Lee etc :)

This pump upgrade should be as compulsory as Tubby injectors in my opinion (not because I sell them though). Matt, you had problems, so did Sutol and now Jimmy and who knows who else has had issues after the SC is fitted.

For the sake of £100 it could save a second trip to Courtenay or even an engine...
