Thought I could borrow your V-Box Jimmy, then we get back to back analysis plus the added benefit of us not being on track together when doing it, could be iffy...
Five laps then, 1 out lap, one in lap and three flying laps and no "I had traffic" excuses.
You honestly think I'll be able to sit there obediently while you hammer the track without me....Jeez Mike I thought you knew me
I'd go out of my mind!! Besides we both know we lap quicker when we're pushing each other.
Thing is there was plenty of room out on track at Silverstone back in October, but back in June when we had our most famous scrap space was an issue!! I only managed one clean lap and that was one of my last of the day. That was LoT's summer Silverstone date, and this one in August will be just as busy!!
Why not see if you can borrow a performance box and we'll just compare files at the end of the day. A few guys on here have got Performance Boxes and I'm sure someone would lend you one. Otherwise I think it will get iffy...
Would be nice to get the circuit to ourselves
Performance box sorted, I have borrowed one for the season and should have it in time for The Rock.

Roll on The Rock.

I'm considering Silverstone as my 4th day from my insurance freebies. Just wondering to do something new or something great

The LoT website for this trackday states "Day is not suitable as a first trackday" but you've got plenty of time to get a couple under your belt before then.Would you recommend this, very busy LOT day, for my first ever outing?

Cheers vix my lot app doesn't mention that
LoT said that last year, but I know guys were out on their first track day at Silverstone!!
I would advise getting a couple in just for your own confidence, but you'd be fine on your first day imo. A ton of cars will be slower than you anyway, so as long as you watch your mirrors for quicker cars you'll love it.
As for insurance.... Competition will probably insure you for 1% of the value you want o insure, give them a ring. You could value the full amount of your car, but it is unlikely in the event of an accident you would need to spend the full a ount if you know what I mean! You'd be very hard pressed to cause £5000 worth of damage to your car on a track day, so insure yourself for 1% of that (£50) then if you do have a prang you are covered. Give them a ring, and they will explain

*BUMP* Just a reminder about this one! It's gonna be awesome!
I trust this will not be its first shake down, you want to get that out of the way as I believe theirs 22x2p, 1x5p & 1x1p at stake

Looking forward to trying out the new sections of track as well
