Does anyone who's going to Silverstone have the full Cornering Force suspension setup with R888's and Nitrons? I'd like to grab a PAX ride if possible. I'll have my PBox, so it'll be interesting to see what the differences if any through the corners as I'm intrigued and possibly interested in the upgrade.

I do indeed. You're most welcome to a passenger lap or two Max. Might even make a bit more sense for you to drive it for a few laps (assuming it makes it through the first hour). :o

It's not set up as a balls to the wall race car though and you'd probably want to speak to Simon at Cornering Force to double check spring rates and valving was suitable for an entirely track focussed car, if you wanted to go further down that road.

Hmmmm. To book the hotel or not to book. Silverstone is very close for me but the hotel is cheap and a trackday without feeling ill after a few beers the night before and a dodgy hotel breakfast is rare.

Hotel website now offering £36 RO and £42.30 with breakfast, so that is booked as well. Spare bed available to anyone who is less offensive than Foxy (I think that means all of you :grouphug: ) If the incinerated hotel was the one next to the Little Chef (could that be Fab :blink: ) on the dual carriageway, the world is a better place for its passing.

£36.00 a night as cheap as a chip :P

Saddest thing now is that I might not be able to make it myself now..... Logistics behind my SC build are proving shitty. Anybody know how to fit rods?

Are you able to get the piston ring compressor to work OK fron underneath??? I would doubt it.
