As above, I have an original Calypso Red Hardtop for sale (not lined).

Comes with all the fittings and star key, along with original storage bag.

Very good condition

PM me with offers, collection preferable from South Essex

Thanks

Ohh, so that's what an 'unlined' one looks like - not what I imagined. I have a 'lined' one, and I think I prefer the unlined more - less dark and claustrophobic  Are the three bits, and the underside of the roof plastic then?

Yep, probably saves weight aswell

I've never seen a lined one though so can't comment.

So strictly speaking, it isn't 'unlined'? It's lined in plastic, as opposed to fuzz?

Well yeah I guess, if you think of it like that. I think there are only 2 types though, with or without fuzz

The underside of the roof - is that the fibreglass painted black (doesn't look like it), or does it have a black plastic 'lining'?

Yes it has a black plastic lining. I only said 'not lined' as I thought you could only get ones lined with fabric (turbo) or not?

Or can you actually get them with bare fibreglass?

So, just to clarify, this hardtop is lined in plastic and is the original Vauxhall part that came with the car thumbsup

I have only ever heard of them referred to on here as 'lined' or 'unlined'. In my ignorance, I assumed that 'unlined' meant that the underside was simply the bare fibreglass. You carry on - it was just me learning somefink noo :D PS Thanks for the explanations, and sorry for sullying your thread!
