could you legally for the mot get away with one of a 70% tint across the top only. Same as Alfa used on the BTCC a few years back?

You just need a friendly MOT tester who doesn't notice minor technicalities like a sunstrip. ;)

I had a bot one, but took it off, twice Will have to ask Jez for another but I was hoping benny would do me something fancy, so I wanted to see what the guys n girls have on here!

So wheres the cheapest place to get a plain one done? Surely they cant be that expensive can they, I mean its only a strip of vinyl? Didnt realise they weren't legal for MOT purposes, still could relly do with one though. Cheers Kevin

You can pick up plain ones from ebay for about £10 or a couple of quid more for a bespoke one or one with Vauxhall or whatever across it. I'm tempted by a chrome one on the silver VX.

A two meter piece will give you enough for 2 or 3 stripes as the rolls are mostly 58cm wide.
