After much thought and deliberation I'm selling my M32 kit for my VX, I’m just never going to get the time to install let alone reap the benefit of it :( . I put this gear kit together and selected the 3.94 final drive as I calculated this to offer the best accereration for my Supercharged VX given its rev range whilst being aware not to make 1st gear redundant. If any one want the gear calculator done with a different rev range i.e. 7000 rpm then l can this.
It’s a complete kit of parts that will enable anyone to bolt straight in and have an OEM set up. Here’s what it consists off:

Brand New M32 2.2 (front starter gearbox) with 3.94 Final Drive.
M32 2.2 Flywheel and Clutch Pack inc Flywheel Bolts
M32 2.2 Slave Cylinder & Release Bearing
Brand new Lotus Europa Gearbox Mounts x3
Brand new Lotus Europa Drive Shafts complete with Inner & Outer CV Joints
Brand new Lotus Europa Gear Lever & Hand brake assy with Cable Lift Reverse.
Brand new Lotus Europa Reverse Gear Selection Cable
Brand new Lotus Europa Gear Selection Cables
Choice of 2 one leather one alloy Lotus Europa Gear Knobs.

The cost new for all this is over £4600 which is silly really!! . The box alone is £2413 from Vxl!!!

I would like to get around £2500 for it all.

Here is the gear change comparison and rev comparison between this M32 an the Standard F23, so you can see the change up points this clearly shoes the benefits to 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th.

Hello, how does the drive ratio look like in comparison to the original turbo ratio? And is it plug and play with your kit, or do i still have to manufacture some parts on my own? What kind of clutch did you take ? I have 450Nm torque and am using a sinter clutch (in my F23) at the moment. Is it possible to use the old clutch? And is the arrangement of the gears correct? Many questions, but im seriously interested in the kit. Would you ship it to germany? best regards

Hi you wont have to manufacture any parts everything is there. You mention the Turbo F23 ratio is this becuase you have a turbo? The reason I ask is because the box is a front starter motor for 2.2 not a rear starter as the turbo M32 though the best housing could be modded.

Heres the calcs

Can't 100% confirm as I do not know the FD of mine (sure its the same) mine is a turbo and ratios are spot on ;) only downside ifI guess is your a bit busier on the gears but I like that and makes long motorway a bit nicer ;) I LOVE it a such a better box to work the the std 5 speed :) DG
