Jules take the sound proof layer off the back of your oem mats and they will fit fine :)

I did make a one off set for mine as i wanted matching black mats, but the cost was to much to sell them on here so i didn't bother trying lol

I've got oem mats in mine and carpet. I just cut down the mat well where the standard ones go

Hi Fred,

I have just bought a VX220 and see you sell a full carpet set, could I purchase one from you in Black ? Send me your contact number via email bobjackson1atsky.com so I can arrange payment and details as I am new to this club.

Cheers

Bob

have fitted mine, great set. Bit of cutting round some of the edges in places but nothing a pair of scissors doesn't fix.

Although, I didn't take the speaker area out, i just cut a few inches off the top and slid it up there as high as possible. Fits a treat.,

One of the two parts at the top of the image on page 1? If so, I assume they wrap the "forward tunnel" parts? The VX has a flat tunnel, but the speedster has a raised tunnel, so poss both parts included in the kit?

God knows It 'looks' like part A is supposed to wrap the foot rest, no chance of that lol

Part a. Goes between the drivers footwell and the passengers footwell, I got confused myself but when you work it out, the carpet set sits very nicely together.

I think I may be broken  Well, after lots of swearing and about 30 mins head down in the footwell I gave up :( TBH I'm happy I did, as I'm pretty sure I prefer the carpet set without parts A & B Everything else fitted pretty damned well :)

Part A and B are the pieces that cover the centre bracing...

This pic should help. It's fairly straightforward, although part A is nothing to do with the footrest lol.

Part A and B should be the first bits fitted. The one wraps around the box section right under the dash, the next folds around the centre brace. The main carpet and side pieces hold it all together snug then. I've not heard of another member leaving these bits out Jules but if you prefer the look without, then that's all that matters :)

Just to add my carpets fit n/a footrests, turbo footrests, and also VX's without a footrest. they are left long so members can adjust depending on what they have (n/a, turbo etc)
