Trying to fit mine today but struggling with part A. Can't seem to get it to sit or fit in a position

I had the same issue; couldn't make it fit whatever way I tried I just left it off in the end, I think its all the better for it too :)

Appologies, looks like i've missed an inch cut. The piece with the cuts fits around the tunnel and then the tunnel piece holds a in place. I'm sure there is close up pics somewhere in this thread.
