New to the forum and to VX ownership (picked her up last week!) and I would really like to install the full carpet set.  Have sent you a PM - are you still supplying these?

Thanks in advance!

Mils

Yes internally. Not structurally, just cosmetically Scratched/gouged so will need covering. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Question or statement? If the former I don't know - I need to assess it properly. To be honest I'm a bit gutted about it, kind of like the bare alu look of these cars. May find a way of hiding it. Damage was done a long time ago but have to face up to it now... Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Elise S1 owners use POR15 silver so cover any corrosion in the footwell, if that helps

I've fitted these today along with some dynamat as I've recently changed the engine mounts for the vibra tehnics road type and I've been getting some vibration rattle in the panel work. The carpets look like they were fitted from new, I've had to do a bit of trimming here and there to get it perfect but the end results are great. I started by using double sided tape as recommended, but to get them nice and tight I used spray glue and there's no loose bits. I figured I'm never going to take them out so might as well do a proper job fitting them. I would include some pictures but if you have read this thread then you will have already seen the end results. I've not driven the car with the latest addition so ill add a comment with the outcome. It's my daily driver so any comfort improvement is welcome.

S5000SC good to hear! ☺ Yup every VX floor pan is slightly different as they're handmade etc, so minor trimming can help to get perfect. I've not used spray glue myself as i worried about the moisture coroding the metal but i guess it's dry within a few hours anyway. The same reason i only sell material backed carpet, as rubber backed holds moisture. Denno the same kit is provided for N/A as turbo. The footwell is made long enough to go over a footrest so fits both.

Ok I've been using the now fully carpeted and dynamatted vx for a week in these winter conditions, the inside warms up quicker and feels a nicer place to be, the panels don't vibrate and rattle anymore and I've also put felt tape where any trim rubs on another. The radio sounds better because the hard reflective surfaces have gone. You can still hear the suspension working and the standard knocks, but overall a great improvement. I'm all for keepin it as it left the factory and haven't modded anything else but if you are going to use it everyday it's worth doing, and as long as you do a good job fitting it looks like it's been there from new. As for the increase in weight I weigh 11 stone and the carpet felt tape plus the small amount of dynamat weigh the same as chips twice one battered sausage and a large curry sauce, which will make no noticeable difference to how it drives. Thanks to Fred for supplying an excellent kit. Steve.

Appreciated Steve. Never going to be the best sounding car accoustically but i bet the Dynamat has impoved soundsthe audio no end! If anyone is planning similar, roofing flashing acts the same and is a lot cheaper. Not as good... But much cheaper.
