Any pics you guys have got to show your results (pref on a silver na) would be great. Anyone know the original colour for these?? ta mike

I posted up photos and tips somewhere. Main tip: paint very quickly and DO NOT go over an area you have just painted. Oh, and don't use Hammershite thumbsup I used Halford's matt black, and then picked out the logo in gloss black. I really liked the results

I used black caliper paint from halfords and I removed the anchor pins from the pads first and fitted them back in when the paint dried. Where has your splitter gone

i'm sure I read somewhere (on here) to sit your tin of paint in hot water for ten minutes of so, then its runnier and easier to paint more evenly. Oh and only use high temp paint. Black with the AP racing highlighted in yellow looks cool

bit sad i know, but when the clocks change, like they do next week, I like to make the most of it by doing something special. So, its a toss up, Peaks run, or day painting calipers.....?????

Going to set aside a day for doing the suspension and paint the calipers, don't know what colour though :o Silver car, black wheels. Last car looked nice with gold calipers, but I don't think they will suit the VX. I have a red rocker cover now, so that red with white writing looks nice.

so0o0 before painting, what do you use to clean off all the brake dust / girt / dirt? wouldnt it be easier to spray on rather then painting? :tumble:

You can use aerosol brake cleaned or electrical cleaner as it evaporates, I wouldnt bother spraying them on the car tbh it's just as quick with a brush chinky chinky
