Right folks...

I didn’t think I would ever sell this car but the plain facts are I am not going to get the use out of it over the next twelve months and its a shame to have it stuck in the garage. Basically the missus is due to give birth soon and the car is going to become dormant over the summer and that’s just not right! I was not planning to sell it this year as I have just had the Speedlines refurbed and new badges, car fully detailed and a new set of Carbon Lorraine RC5+ pads all round, ready for the summer.

Most people on the forum will know the cars history as it has been on the forum for quite a while. The car has never wanted for anything and has always had the best parts available thrown at it from both the last owner and me.

Cheers folks. I am not deaperate to sell as it is one of the best cars I have ever owned and its not for money reasons. Its just that it is not going to get used as the missus is going to be off work for a year and track days are going to be few and far between, that would just do my head in. So someone else can enjoy it!

True, but a top notch VXR commands a different kind of premium, even to a modded tubby.

VXes and cars in general do not get much more desirable to me than this. However, one minute I'm thinking of going to my savings account and buying this, the next minute I'm thinking I can't possibly justify changing my VXT for a car of the same age that costs 8k more than I paid for mine a year ago. Good luck with the sale. In isolation I think it's a decent buy and you should sell ok.

Hi Glenn, Sorry to see your selling the VXR, fully understand why, but you have done so much to the car that the selling price does not do it justice. Someone is going to get a bargain for anyone thinking about buying this car, I'll give some simple advice, bite Glenn's hand off. Best of luck and you can always have a spin in mine.
