I saw a thread on hear a while ago on a coupe/ hatch for the vx - any ideas - I cant fiond it

(I do think the shape could be better integrated to the roof line, but then this mod is fully reversible...)

That looks awesome! I've often wondered whether there is something like that available to improve the airflow and reduce drag over the car. I'm sure that flat back accounts for a big chunk of the VX/Elise/Noble's et al drag. I was surprised to see on wikipedia that the Nissan GTR has a lower CdA than an Elise, and given that the frontal area of the GTR is about the same as a detached house it shows how much higher the Cd must be for the elise.

its actually the flat ass that causes the bulk of the drag... The Meganes suffered a similar problem. My mate made a tapered ass for one in Fluent and its CD just about halved :lol:
