As title. Any info about the components of the charger would be useful. Cheers Chris

Do you still have some components or do you want to buy a kit? In the moment I am driving the very good SC230 kit without chargecooler. You can buy the kit with all komponents by VX-Performance. Normally the Kit uses Turboinjectors. Then you must change the connectors. Or you buy these injectors. But then you need another fuelrail... If you dont want drill holes into the 2.2 throttel you can buy the adapterplate.. nice one lee, that would defo take the pressure off for the LM trip. I've payed top dollar for it to be sent over quickly (on friday) and then the wind changes and now it could all go pear shaped. Also can you believe customs will be wanting more tax on it, even though it's a replacement part for something i've already payed tax on, fobbing twunts. Should be able to get the dosh back but it's the time element which is the bug bear. Are you tracking your charger when do think it will be here?

If your square wheeled because of this you should be able to strip out the snout and find the seal. It should be just a lip seal which should be available. Most precision engineering co's should be able to do this and source a seal for you. Just takes a wee while.

The bearing shouldn't be a problem it's an SPK(?) but the seal is a special. BoT have got it at the moment and they can't get the pulley off. They've heated it all the way to red hot and it still wouldn't come off. I think getting a new snout is the only way to go now. It's the 'wee while' i haven't got and what with volcanic ash shutting down airports LM is looking dodgy in the VX. hoping Lee's charger will help me out if necessary.

Seen the price of that thing. They could prob get any 2 or 3 legged puller to work. or even knock up something similar to the one in the link. You just cant get the amount of pressure a puller exerts through other means. its immense

Actually we have a thing on the workbench a work thats for removing pulleys from altornators that would prob work. My Mrs works at the armys REME camp in bordon. Pretty sure they would have the right tool too. I can contact her to see if she can find someone on the camp to do it if you want me to

:yeahthat: 3 leg puller and a slotted plate would do the same job as that tool.
