I never get spotted despite driving 140 miles up the m62 on monday mornings and back down again on friday evening
Last weekend did spot (what I believe to be the old regal VX) a silver VX in blackpool 9the widened arches etc...., but I was in the 107 so it doesnt count.

That's a long haul, i am surprised you've never been spotted (fingers crossed you will be soon. Perhaps this thread will bring you some luck).

Wasn't regal's old vx a white one (highly disfigured modded as you say)

Don't know about the dodgy modifications but I was probably driving my bog standard silver VX in Blackpool that weekend

My apologies, there was no disrespect intended by my post. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, it's just that my particular eye didn't see much it liked in the regal vx that was carrying a modified body. I'm not sure if this was even the vx that you now own but wanted to put the record straight and say that as long as you like the modifications then that is all that counts.

Edit add...Oh i see, sorry doh . You've clearly said that yours is a bog standard vx, so is most definitely not regals old one.

Ive done hampshire to plymouth and back, plymouth to Doncaster and back and hampshire to doncaster and back a fair few times now and only had 1 spot in over 2 years

Last Thursday I drove from Norwich to Bradford and back to Norwich the same day and nobody spotted me, I didn't even see a single Lotus let alone a vx Yesterday I drove down the road from mine and within ten minutes waved at a fellow vx owner but they are not on the forum

If I ever sell mine I couldn't bear it if it was 'spotted' and I wasn't the one driving her, sad but true (I know, I need to get out more. Ooooh might get more spots!)
