i started work today at 9am, and ive just got in..

13 hours has seen:-

both clams off
towing bracket sand blasted ready for painting
radiator cover off
large charge cooler installed
fans wired in
pipes run down the sills
new altenator put on
new injectors wired up
loom is in pieces ready for wiring
fit the top hose
re-routed the fuel pipes
installed manifold (temp)
installed charger (temp)
etc etc

basically everything is pretty much done bar the extention of some of the loom and the header tank installed (i dont have it yet)

but i was wondering if you could help me on a couple things.

1. what goes on the nipple here?
Posted Image

2. does this go back into the intake pipe?
Posted Image

3. where does this now go?

i think for now thats all i need to know to get it finished..

:)

1. Yep, brake servo hose (I assume you mean the red cap. Underside bypass valve stays open.)
2. Inlet air temp. Drill a hole in your tube and fit the grommet.
3. That is from the fuel vapor cannister. Not sure if everybody re-connected this, but my canbnister is now attached to the top of the SC where the original (for 2,2 blanked off) P-sensor was.

does no.3 need re-attaching then? because when you take it off (on standard setup) the engine used to run at higher revs and sound terrible.

If you left the connection open you created an airleak after the TB, so pretty obvious that it ran with higher revs...

In the first picture: Nothing goes on the black nipple in the middle of the shot. The brake servo hose goes on the red connector to the left of the picture. In the second picture: This needs to be mounted in the intake somewhere, after filter and before throttle. In the third picture: This is the fuel tank vent pipe and it needs to be extended and attached to the connector on the throttlebody (which will be underneath once the throttlebody is mounted).
