Im 99% finished writing the guide on how to install a supercharger onto the 2.2 engine, currently im just proof reading it and making sure that the wiring info is all correct it should be uploaded sometime this weekend. I went with the guide as a true step by step guide would of been very time consuming, and i beleive that if you cant do it without a step by step you should really just let someone else do it. I just hope that it will be of use to some of you who decide to try the conversion yourself. chinky chinky

I look forward to reading it. Don't have the skill to do the conversion myself but would be interesting to see what's required anyway! chinky chinky

Come here and I'll buy you a beer. Can't wait to start drilling holes in my car! Depending on how well the mortgage saving goes I'm thinking of doing this over winter (possibly with the help of FLD, but he doesn't know this yet :D ), if anyone wants to come help you can learn off my car and I'd be more than happy to return the favour when the time comes.

I was thinking of a way to break it to you, don't have to worry anymore :P

Perfect team, but I should tell you, I'm rubbish at making tea.

just a little update, the guide has been written but ive decided to add a couple of diagrams just to help that little more, so ive done as much as i can on my laptop, but i really need my PC and a propper mouse to make the diagrams decent. there are just 1 or 2 things i need to check the TB wiring for the larger TB so im just waiting for a txt to come back confirming i have it right. should be done and up by the end of the week.

Excellent stuff thumbsup

All we need now is:

  • a parts list (with indicative guide prices), and
  • where to source all parts from, and
  • the names and telephone numbers of various willing and trusty individuals around the country who are able to fit SC for $$$'s (or £££'s or €€€'s)

:)

Sounds like it is going to be a very good guide. I very much look forward to reading it and will influence my decision to supercharge it in the future. :)

Noooooo! This way everyone will know what a dogs dinner I made of it! Its a REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY difficult job to do and only supreme master mechanics can do it. Seriously, top job. The helpfulness here is the ONLY reason I still have mine.
