Awww fab. Put a number on it. I used to work in a Forte restaurant and would love a nice set of knives for my very own. The torture of a PM auction is just too much for me.

Now that is something I would like to own, a really nice set of knives. Yes it is because I cook, not because I live near Luton.

I  global knives but I think you would be offended at the reason I would want to purchase... (clay sculpting! ) Go on, put a price on em! PM if you prefer. Can I just point out to anyone who may not know, Global knives are of superb quality, divinely weighted and a high value bit of kit thumbsup

I would PM, but I have absolutely no idea what they are worth! If I knew how to get a decent price on decent knives I would have some instead of the planks of sheetmetal with handles that I currently have. And it's swmbo's birthday soon, and she's never had any decent knives - or anything else for that matter.

So Fab, any suggestions for a set of 4-5 knives that would be a good deal at around £80? ;)

"Also, I think knives are a good idea. Big, fcuk-off shiny ones. Ones that look like they could skin a crocodile. Knives are good, because they don't make any noise, and the less noise they make, the more likely we are to use them. sh** 'em right up. Makes it look like we're serious. Guns for show, knives for a pro." Fab, now that I have found my phone again after losing it since the National (the VX had eaten it) , when would be a good time to phone and make a deal? Would really need to see these and touch and feel the balance, even better if you give a demonstration.

I don't wanna intrude on your sale but i bought some knives like yours not that long ago. Got them from here http://buzzcaterings...efs-knives.html Love them and they've come in really useful seen as I'm studying to be a chef at college now! Would definitely reccomend them to anyone! I tell you what though i do feel like your paying a bit more for the name.... the quality is good but you can get knives just as good that aren't global and there a million times cheaper (Never tried those wustloft knives your saying but they look cool)... I'd try victorinox, couple of my mates in my class at college have got them. http://buzzcaterings...nox-knives.html

Still your two sets look interesting and they look real tidy too!

Kyocera ceramic knifes are the boys to have. Have a full set of global knifes but they rust where they join the blade to the handle, Have had a few of mine change for new now with no problem which isnt a bad thing.
