Is working away for a few days then coming back having a look at what has been posted on here and then having figured out that maybe the things I worry about at work fall into insignificance in comparison to what tyres I may or may not need.

The other thing that I love is how well and gracefully I am ignored on here. The only way to make my letter go red is to reply to myself

Maybe Thorney should start a break away site that deals with people that haven't got a clue (or ever want too) what most of you lot are talking about. The most exciting thing that happened to me today was driving back from Brighton to Birmingham and seeing a shooting star that went straight down. When I came on here and read about hoses, I thought we were getting into porn???? :drink:

Well...

when I saw that 12 people had viewed your postings and no-one had replied, :( I felt obliged to respond. :)

If seeing the shooting star was the most exciting part of your journey, I presume you weren't in a VX. ;)

As for porn, well the most you'll find on here is the catsuit girl that was posted a couple of months ago. 'Fraid I can't remember what it was in relation to.

So, martinh, rest assured that your posts are not invisible. :D

BTW, if you find chat about VX details or tech. stuff not so interesting, you could post about anything else under the "Off-Topic Chat" section. :)

martin, I would never dream of sharing my poetic/emotional moments in a car-forum....(unless a specific section was available); petrolheads in general are not very open to that, and chances of getting turned down/insulted by some boozer are quite high...(not so much here I hope) sure, there is the off topic chat, but it's described as "general rubbish", so I dunno if you reckon yourself into that... :P

Martinh, I find your posts a haven of simplicity in the maelstrom which is this board sometimes. :) I also wonder what it is you're taking when you post, where I can get it and how much it will cost me :) Tell you what.....tank yourself up on whatever it is and post a question/debate topic in the off topic board of a subject matter of your chosing. I promise no matter how benign the question, how inspired the topic I (and eveyone else....right ;) ) will answer with a view. How's that? :groupjump:

I for one always look forward to reading your next post Martin. I don't think i've ever replied because you don't really ask any questions, or post something that is going to spark off a discussion. They always make me laugh though.

We would miss you if you were not on here Martin. Please stay with us. Can you make it to the Birmingham run on the 27th? If you can you will see that most of us have lives other than the cars, honest. We Love U Martin. :grouphug:

As for porn, well the most you'll find on here is the catsuit girl that was posted a couple of months ago.

Stumbled across this again. It's under the thread "What does everybody else drive?" but you'll have to look yourself to work out the relevance!
