Looking great buddy, cant wait to watch you at brands, hopefully I will be back in the UK by then

Then you can blag your car backk from your bro :) Will be good to see you again fella!

Looking good Jimmy, don't forget to give me a call if you need me for a job or 2 - I'm only 25 miles away.

Cheers Nev Mate. I might take you up on that fairly soon actually. Not because it's a two man job, more that you have shelter, heat and power  Nev's garage is like the Ritz

Well I've got a front clam respray coming up, as well as my corporate sponsors to sort out so I will be taking alot of it off. I am meant to have a Total Vaux shoot this week so I told EJM they were welcome to put stickers on, but they know it's not long term.

Ed's cool though, I don't mind getting him some interest and WOW have you seen his facilities....? Really awesome setup he's got there!!! Had a Britcar BMW in, a Ferrari, a stripped out 911 and tons of Sportmaxx type hatchbacks!! It's MASSIVE his place, and he's next door (near enough) to and ECU optimisation company!!!

Nah, I'm cutting into the front clam to fit some louvres so it's going to need more paint. Wish I manned up and bought a set before the respray but I didn't have time to fit them then. I bought a TON of paint though when we painted the car so it should just be labour cost this time so not too bad :)

Looks good Jim! Noticed you've dropped the ride height down to your traditional low-slung levels!! Do you experience any problems with bump steer by running the fronts so low, or have you done something with the steering rack to compensate ?

She inches ever nearer to completion!!

Finally got my new tyres and wheels fitted.

Got ATS DTC's with Pirelli P-Zero Nero 215/45/17's on the front and Pirelli P-Zero Rosso 245/40/17's on the rear. Not happy about having to mix tyres but am told compound is the same, only the tread patterns differ.... Probably lies :angry2:

However, I'm really happy with the wheels, they look stunning!!! Fronts rub like hell at the mo, but am getting arch extenders to rectify that.

Car is almost completely branded up for racing now. I think it looks daft myself as there's no there, but she looks mean, that's the main thing! The view from the rear with the super wide tyres looks :tt:

Just seen a video from the weekend of a supercharged 211 with a passenger doing a 58sec lap of knockhill. That was with someone getting in the road as well. There's an initial target for you! thumbsup p.s. I did it in 66 secs flat out with an instructor in the pax seat. Let's see you beat that time-attack boy! :tt:

Car looks fab.

I had thought those wheels/tyre sizes would fit straight on - unmodified, but I guess that's not the case or is it your car is lowered?

I ask because it sounds like this company are telling porkies: -

Well if you can't beat my time in a standard NA done on 80k shocks with a passenger, then you should just give up!

If you have never done knockhill before, have a look at the video. You really don't get an idea of the undulations until you drive it.

Thanks for that. I think they're they only aftermarket wheels authorised for the Swiss market and I do fancy a set. Will wait a year though as have plenty of rubber on my originals.
