so is the TMS front splitter up to the job? actually do anything? or does someone want to use photoshop/paint/internet to show me what one should look like on the vx :) i currently have a large 8x4 sheet of perspex so can make one if i have a design many thanks

but you can make out of perspex and then mould using cf :)

Always thought it had to pertrude further forward than was aesthetically pleasing to actually work.

sorry i meant does someone want to use photoshop to modify the tms diffuser to make it work :lol: e.g. where the 'gap' is in the middle would a pointy outy bit there make it better if so would i dunno..... 20mm be good? just thinking out loud again :lol: boring day today :lol:

The TMS one is more an air dam than a splitter, There was someone on here made their own tasty looking splitter for their hill climb VX. It had a profile in the middle to channel air like a diffuser. I'll have a search later as there were pictures of it

I thank you. Finally someone has decided to use the correct name for most of the stuff fitted to the front of the VX. The only real splitter is the TMS Britcar one. thumbsup

Heres the one I was thinking of, wasn't a hill climb car, just a project car, however looks like a job done pretty well

That's going to be the problem most of the ones which work really well will only do that on track, put them on a road car near speed bumps and ouch I really want one myself but can I find one which will do the job everyday.
