you should just buy one, will be easier in the long run as you have mine as a base map :D

Nah, I've already got a dozen different base maps for my setup.

I have Netherlands expert on my side ;)

Given any thoughts yet on the finetuning, as i asume you will load a basemap for a 250bhp M62 setup.
Off to CS, or some good old diy?

Found a couple of HPTuners and GM supercharger specialists in the UK. No experience on the LSJ, as they're V8 people, but one of them is halfway between Joe's house and my house.

well lets see how CMS sort the z20let mapping out, if ,when they do the thought of an ecu designed for the car which does the job is good for me.

how much extra bhp will you get with HPtuning software?, drivability?

Probably less in my case, as I'll be going down to 2.0 litre but I just want an OEM engine that has OEM clearances, OEM PCV systems and sensors that actually know what's happening in the parts of the engine that count.

You want cruise control and AC to go with that too?

To that German Harrop; HITEC is building 2 engines. One forged 2.2 with a Saab head running a stand alone ecu + Z22SE ecu for OBD stuff etc. (that's probably the engine in the Speedster.) And one with a Saab B207 2.0l block. That's the pic of the pulley with an extra 6+1 trigger for the Z22SE ecu, as the Saab crank has a 58-2 internal trigger.

Interested in how much Harrop power they can make. thumbsup

I went through this ECU issues on my build and already said many times here how I deeply regret not buying a proper standalone and not a cheap one at the directly at the beginning (in my case a Motec)...
