Wanna swap cars for a few laps to see if one of us have made a bad mistake?

yeah someone didn't fit throttle bodies :P

Would be rubbish as I need the engine to go to 7800rpm to make best use of the FD.

Just need to find £10k for a fully sequential box.

the saab 2.2 engine is now finished and the z20let ecu engine loom is also made, it even has the oil level sensor and chargecooler wiring :D soon be time to fit it along with the M32 6 speed gearbox, well if Joe buys a clutch :P

Little update! Only a couple of parts now!

Now I think I am only missing a couple of parts...

Exhaust system
Charge cooler tank
Gearbox and engine oil

Bloody hell... So close to having everything!!! I have booked a few days off now and it's looking like i got 2 weeks off over the bank holiday weeks! So d day is 1st of may for everything to be back together and may even go to courtenays for mapping on my birthday :D I wonder if i can run in the engine in a week.. Dnt see why not :lol:

Nice one joe. Whats the reason getting a custom exhaust built and not going for a Chris tullet 3 inch, or is this exhaust not rated for the power your after.

Over track noise limits at 250bhp would be my guess.

Over track noise limits at 250bhp would be my guess.

Well under now with the decat silencer they sent me. Unbelievably, the small swap-in silencer dropped my static readings down from 104dB @ 4500rpm to 96.2dB @ 5200rpm. Just an airbox to dampen the induction side and I may even get back on at Bedford or Goodwood.

Yup just the noise of the tullet really.. If they have sorted it then that is very good news!! They are about 200ft away from my house :lol:

:lol:...guest what i stuck the itb's plate with power epoxy uni-bond and have cook it again and gone missing :huh:.....:lol:

Cheap tat. :D One day I'll get around to fitting my Supercharged Ecotec badge that I got about 2 years ago. It's been sat on the desk in front of me ever since. That'll probably end up on the road behind me somewhere as well.

only just found this.. TBH i only found out about the burn out of the old VX in Feb at the city drinks meet.. that car was the reason i got a VX Imnotworthy the new project looks amazing and i can't want to have a pax in that too :P see you at a meet soonish?

Don't worry about it i think I have done well out of it , well when it is all together T minus 4weeks til completion :D
