well had a nice ly in today as worked last night! but had a few hours to crack on with the lsj ecu fitting and a few odds and sods to sort out

its amazing how little jobs etc take up time but this build has now turnt into a take your time and do it properly rather than rushed.

me and vocky started off by fitting the majority of the loom and swapping all the gay z20let sensors for lsj ones and plugging various random plugs on

still alot of wiring to do and due to work i think next weekend is more convenient andrealistic to get all the wiring done properly

fitted exhaust:

then made a new heat box for it that needs riveting (ran out of rivets so will finish that off during the week)

made up various brackets etc, also sorted out the dipstick bracket as i never fitted one due to the harrop being so big i couldnt get my hand round the back but sorted that out finally!

then we called it a day to be honest, i have a fair few odds and sods i can carry out here and there but i imagine the next big update will be next weekend!

going to re do all the plumbing aswell as we have movedf the cc tank now

but still an update none the less and was kinda nice to work on the vx again!

Ah, finally I spot an LSJ ecu, a cam sensor and a familiar loom on your engine. Just take your time for the small stuff and it should run well. rallly

Just removing the filt from the firewall was not enough?
How was it without the phenolic spacer?

Oh and as I don't have front fog lights I was under what to do about this.. So think I will get some of robins front bumper cut outs and vent the air through the top louvres and through the side focus rs vents :D
