Nev that's interesting, it was new in march! Will it be that bad?
My fuel was 9 months old when I started the engine up, so maybe yours will be better. Just be wary, or simply siphon off the bulk of it and re-use it in small amounts in some other car.
When the hydrocarbon chains break down the flame wave changes and slows down. My cams also allow a lot of reversion < 1800 RPM, so this may have made matter worse for me, if you are on standard cams you may be fine. All in all though it's not much effort to siphon the bulk of it out (and then put it in another car so it doesn't go to waste.)

Just woken up!
Sad thing is it appears I have got used to having only 5hrs sleep
Will have a couple pop tarts then:
Whip battery out
Whip heater out
Put new battery in
Drain fuel
Put new fuel in
Load new base map onto ecu
Fit intake pipe
Start the HPT scanner; check ecu parameters and enable the read/log function!
Turn keys with rob999 on speed dial
