Bodywork wise smiley, I am fitting coupe part to the oem clam with widened wheel arches from the other clam :)
Hopefully start on this soon! Grinder time :saw:

Does the OEM clam fit better for what you want to achieve?

They come in useful from when doing Le Mans etc. A boot floor really doesn't weigh much either!

I know, its just against the hardcore route you were going down so I thought I'd abuse you! The boot floor is PU foam with glass cloth in the middle. Weighs the square root of feck all.

Looks like I will have to replace that external trigger wheel I removed, it should do nicely for this setup, better get working on that saab head also  that 118 BTDC is the same as the z20let

Be interesting to know if the internal LSJ crank trigger wheel is available separately. It looks like it just bolts on....

I have a spare kicking around and it wouldn't be too bad a job to machine a Z22 crank to suit IMO. Its the same as saab too. Do you want me to get the part no off it?

Nah, I'm good. I'm hoping that the crank in the bottom of the B207 sat in the garage already has one. Would be a neat solution to avoiding external stuff on a Z22SE, if the sensor could be accommodated.

you also need the saab crank sensor and coolant temp sensor for the LSJ ecu, which hopefully will be still bolted in place on your saab lump

Bar the exhaust system, I think I've got everything that was within the engine bay of the donor 9-3 Aero. I've no idea what 2/3rds of the stuff is but when the guy delivered it, he kept going back to his little trailer and grabbing another handful of pipework, wiring, aircon bits. Gawd knows. :beat:
