I mainly drive in the dry so need the wider wheels + greater grip that the 10"ers give me thanks.

Out of interest, what is wrong with 10" wide in the wet, and why are 9" ok in the wet?

I can only imagine that it is down to spread the low weight too thinly, therefore not forcing the tyre to cut through the water and make traction.

As Mangham says it's to do with the weight/contact patch ratio. For wet conditions you generally want less contact patch to increase the pressure on the tarmac. That helps you break surface tension and get more grip. Also the larger the contact patch the harder it is to get the tyres up to working temp.

Is that a Saab oil breather hose or the US LSJ version. (looks LSJ to me) And to the fuel system; what quality fuelhose is that? And not talking about burst pressure, but is that minimal SAE 30R9 spec???

It's not my car, but would hate to see it go up in flames due to a leaking fuelhose... :ninja: And is that a special fuelfilter? Better spec than OEM??
