That's not how you go about getting them made. 3D CAD design, then milled from aluminium, doesn't go anywhere near someone who works with cars. And yes, the GT hubs are nice, but don't do anything new over the original (other than extra camber). I'm thinking of an aluminium hub design with integrated handbrake mechanism.

Well other than integrated mounts for aftermarket calipers, raised hub centres, proper mount for toe links, stronger, lighter. So not much really.

There are always these if it wasn't for the 'not for more than 200 bhp' warning: http://www.elisepart...elled-discs-s2/

This has always made me laugh in no way does the power of a car have any effect on the strength of the brakes.

Yes it could mean it would be going faster between corners but that would be a heat dissipation issue, retarding force is defined by the pads and tyres not how fast your going.

glol, tell this to scuffers. theres a thread i read recently where he's preaching about forces at maxpower through brakes...cause you know we're all pushing the throttle hard when braking...

as usual, kind of missing the point.

on a single brake event, makes no difference, over time with repeated application, more engine power = higher speeds = higher average brake loads

thus you have more heat for the disks to dissipate.

If you see the car as a system. ..engine power being higher means more energy per second is being turned into kinetic energy - most of this will be dissipated through the brakes.

Joe, that exige bootlid is lovely, how are you planning to fit? Chopping the top off an exige rear clam and moulding to Vx rear? ive been looking at similar to go with the roof i aquired and trting to work out the options. I remember you'd done it on an old clam ages ago.....how did it go!?
