managed a bit of time on the vx today as i found my rick astley cd finally ;)

must remember that next time i order a custom charge cooler tank i actually go outside to the car and measure it up not guess and think yeah that will be ok  its TIGHT and i mean mm tight  but its in!

i will leave the pax seat out to make sure there is no leaks as there is no chance in sorting any leaks out with the seat in  but when the car is all running perfect and im back on my feet again i will get another tank ordered and fit that and will make it a little smaller and easy to fit!

anyway a couple of pictures:

oh and the pax seat with the harness bar does still fit :)

i will be making a bracket to hold the beastie 1200Lph cc pump up using the airbox bracket bolts :)

also need to slightly tweak the 90 degree bends on the Y piece and then clamp/bolt everything down! but work stopped play, will crack on with it tomorrow

yeah little list of things left to do: bleed clutch/brakes fit rear pax caliper after refurb fit exhaust fit charger make air intake pipe with amm/tb/air filter mount ecu rear clam bonnet bootlid finish off cc system fit seats doorcards and dash plates when back from trimmers fit shocks aero kit - splitter, spoiler, diffuser, tubby vents, louvres then its all done so not actually that much left to do really :) will probably end up cutting the rear clam up and fitting vents to get rid of some heat in the bay :)

Finished off my cc system today luckIly managed to get the tank to fit *NOTE* to overs measure first  I was lucky this time!

Also re-routed the system from the above picture so that the water into the pump and then it pumps it up which I have been told by the supplier is a better way :) had to be a bit spaghetti junction getting it to all fit probably £50 worth of silicon bends

Also mounted my ecu, harrop  and couple of little bits and pieces :)

You can see the tank pictured here:

They look great. thumbsup But, you need to make your mind up as to whether it's going to be a stripped out racer that gets trailered everywhere, or a pleasant place to be on the road that just happens to be halfway decent on track. Soon.

I made my mind up gonna get it insured for the road and then have it as a civilised track car aswell :) Although the aero kit will be fun on the roads a lot of looks I think  Yup chris no stereo, where would the speakers go
