Cheers guys. To be honest it doesn't make sense financially either Doing a few number crunches etc and it needs a respray which is 4k then 1k on new seals etc etc etc that's another 5k of which I could add to the pot of parts money so I could then buy something a bit more special

What is a car worth? Only what you value it at. If you've fallen out of love with it then not much will change your mind. However, a full respray up here will give you change from £1k. So give it some thought bud.

Sad day... Thinking about stripping and selling the Vx for parts Maybe I bit off more than I can chew or maybe I just fell out of love and that's why I can't be arsed to touch it. But looking at figures etc it makes more sense to strip it for parts. We will see

To be honest I have thought about it for a while but always ruled it out.. But I think my mind is changed. If I can get majority of the big parts allocated to people then I can decide from there really.

Nah not the turbo this time, think I've popped a driveshaft but can't be arsed to take a look. It's exactly where I pushed it after Snetterton which was Sept 22nd

Since I started working in Dagenham I'm out the house on average 14 hours a day and when your as old as I am, that's pretty much all the energy I've got. Suppose I'll get round to it eventually

When I did my Motorsport body conversion he bought my old clams and other unwanted stuff off me, paid me a good price for them too.

Yeah I did alright. He bought quite a fair bit considering! Even the brand new rear light!
