sorry been a bit distant from this topic for a little while!

not too far off now, i am waiting on ecu, emobiliser, chip and keys from courtenays but due to them being mentally busy and a man down i am going to have to wait for the first start up. but i have also decided to make a back up plan if the z20 ecu conversion either hits a brick wall or is not completed in time for le mans.

i am ok with missing the national as i will still go t support/watch/steal peoples cars but i really dont want to miss le mans. So i have decided to buy a 6+1 trigger wheel (standard z22se crank trigger wheel) as i can then swap wiring harness's, supercharger, tb, coil pack, map sensor and then run the car as a 300bhp car.

thats the plan anyway!

plans for this friday are:

seats
harness's and bar
seat overide resistors
undertray
side vents if they arrive or atleast prep the area for when the new ones arrive
exhaust aswell hopefully
finish off fuel lines
water pump bracket

That's a neat idea and a sensible back up plan. No harm running the engine it at that level either.

Fingers crossed it wont be needed but with how slow progress is at the moment, t'is a wise move. thumbsup

Exactly what I was thinking to be honest Besides 300bhp maybe all I need and I can sell my penis extension for £2k to Lee  I am hoping to get the ecu back for the 2/3 July and this is also when I'm hoping to complete my Vx. If it starts and runs ok then this will be a huge step for the z20 conversion if it has problems that are seen as mapping issues as aposed to sensors etc then it will be returned back to a z22se ecu setup and ran in and mapped to 300bhp then after le mans I can then look into reverting back to the z20 ecu. Main thing is I want my Vx for le mans!
