cheers guys! yup just dremel dust, one tip is to not show off your interior to your neighbour and then leave the roof off and carry on cutting :beat:

im definately more keen on them with the curves as apposed to the very aggressive look of the sharp 90 degree angles but i guess this is down to taste :)

gary, i will be modifying the wheel arches to allow the pressure to be realised, still debating about my front louvres, whether to get them glassed in which will result in a front end respray and the stone chip to be taken off! or to make a statement with them and paint them black and just stick them in! i am thinking this B) where is my dremel ;)

 the places i have been to collect parts/engines from are amazing character building ventures

unfortunately the mesh isnt in yet as its raining here so kinda stopped play! lee hasnt built me my cover yet :P

can you just cut the rear liner across behind the two bolts that go up into the boot floor. essentially cuts off the rear flap part. (Fnaar, flap part!!)

Cheers buddy, still no ecu getting a bit worried now so operation backup is in full swing :( Going to spray the louvres black today and offer up to the car then once happy with the place will cut the front clam :saw: That's if it's dry! Will take the rear clam off and do the mesh for the grill Aswell, got a touch up pen so will do the White fibreglass in red :)

well popped down to tesco's and bought a couple of lipsticks and wow what a match ;)

Posted Image

offered the mesh up and its currently sticking to the clam now.... wish i used something that 'set' a little quicker!!

Posted Image

noticed that i need to do a bit more prep work on the left hand side one, so once the right one is stuck i will sand the left one a bit and then lipstick it and then glue the mesh to it but not bad so far :)

I like this alot more than the straight cut ones mate. Presume it has a huge effect on engine and egts. Does it have any effect to aerodynamics?

cheers guys, a fair bit of fiddling is needed :beat: aerodynamics.. hmm.. it will have effects due to de-pressurising the rear wheel arches, i cant see any other benefit other than the massive heat escape :)

Would be good to get some temperature readings, then block the vents up and take some more to see the benefits thumbsup

Wil you make them removable, or just sikaflex them in?

Ah, and love the mesh lines that follow the clam so nicely thumbsup

Cheers buddy! I much prefer the lines that follow the clam makes it look slightly oem if that's possible  To be honest I have been thinking about making then removable and cant actually come up with an idea on why I would want them removable! So am just going to save time and hassle and glue them in! Will need to find a guide though :beat:

I glued in plastic toilet seats nuts to make mine removable, as it's a question of time before they need a respray with large front tires. (especially you, with your 215's) http://www.speedster...opic.php?t=4420 2 Plastic screws in the inside, 1 gypsum wall spreadplug on the door side with a screw, and a large screw for the side. Exactly as it is in the tubby. (well almost; tubby has a nut glued in at the doorside inside, but close enough) Here's a german guide. Just enjoy the pixies, as i don't think you'll get the text  http://www.auto-edit.../oren/guide.doc The german guy got it out in 1 piece. I could not get that, and yanked out the pieces a few inches at a time :ninja:
