nope whats the latest? na thats todays antics! there is no doubt that it will have to have a removable boot floor which im fine with as i need to cover up a giant hole where the tms manifold stuck through anyway!

Joe, you could make the struts up in 2 parts. A bottom bracket that bolts to the subframe as you have already (but sits flush with the boot floor). Then the top section can fit inside the boot and bolt down onto the lower bracket. That way the only mods required to the clam are a couple of holes where you bolt the 2 sections together and the slots in the top to fit the wing supports. Difficult to describe, but looking from the rear, the current support is an A shape. The lower section would eb the short legs of the A and the top section the larger triangular part of the A, with the bottom of the triangle sitting flush on the boot floor.

The problem with that is the boot floor flexes alright and can "crush" when pushing if you know what I mean. I am now thinking about binning the lower struts and making one that rather than bolts to the side of the subframe bolts down onto it
