Yeah and to be honest the front bumper doesn't do much as it relys on the rad surround quite slot which I will beef up the mounting points thumbsup

that sounds a good power to go for i think thats the power im aiming for not sure how good traction is going to be tho? i am also thinking about when its back on the road doinga few track days in it for the rest of the year. but im also interested in gettin in to time attack eventually. what sort of costs are involved with it? i know the entry fees. But what about spares packages, tyres, brakes, spare wheel, what sort of a price you think it will cost for the year? also do you need a roll cage and seats and harness and for all to be in date for scruteneering etc? noise tests?

The mesh should be enough for strength, as long as you give it a good couple of inch extra and bond it in good and propper

all the structural stuff in the front end in the crash box anyway

It's getting there ;) With big thanks to Jon at Courtenays I now have my ecu back :groupjump: as many of you know who is on my Facebook! Jobs this week/weekend are: Phenolic intake gasket 6 rib alternator pulley Intake pipe, new design ;) Maybe mess around with some spare bodywork if I got time! Craig I have a pro alloy lightweight 48L tank with internal baffles and a uprated in tank fuel pump that replaces original. Oh and JG look at your texts! chinky chinky

You managed to convince him then? Does that mean you're going to be the beta tester for the ECU now?

Phenolic intake gasket

What will you use as a workaround, now that the bottom inlet manifold bolt no longer fits?
Just use washers on the thread where it's bolted to the engine?
