thanks to vxt'ed for coming round today, and helping me fit the pro alloy fuel tank

really is a good bit of kit, here is a comparison:



about time that 14 month old fuel disapeared from the car

vocky also popped over to pick up some over bits and he couldnt resist giving a hand so got him to clean the sheer panel



then it was all fitted, really straight forward bit of kit to fit to be honest uses all the oem fixings etc, let me know if you want one

once they left i decided to fiddle around with the air intake pipe again so finished that off and set about designing a heat box for the backbox for the clam as have decided against ripping out the boot for the sake of 6 race days as i cant justify it to be honest.

only a little update but an update none the less! many thanks to vocky and vxt'ed

Aaargh I want one... look how shiny it is. Must resist the temptation to buy one for now! Whats the weight of that thing compared to the stock tank?

where do all those small pipes go compared to oem tank?

They are inside the tank as a posed to on top, they used the space above to fit the extra 16L of petrol in

Is that the 48L or 60L tank?

vxt'ed weighed it and you save 4.5kgs (unless both tanks are full) that is the 48L Paul

a little update as i didnt ahve long after the hangover

Jon at courtenays modified a standard FPR for me that i cant thank him enough for doing!! to make sure it is up to 4.5bar

The first vid sounds like someone blowing a raspberry.... But sounds lovely in the second. I set some alarms off today in a car park....

just needs some trimage! then if it works perfectly then i will get another one made or copy the ones that vxt'ed have done which is this: (except this was a prototype!)



although now after comparing them i prefer vxt'eds design so i may get a couple made up

I was hoping you might sell the JK's as you would need different seats for time attack. Didn't JJJ replace his for time attack or was that just personal preference? Oh well wishful thinking.

personal preference buddy, i do want a set of tillet b5's but waiting on a good deal... and chris would rape the rest of my toolbox if i sold my jks to someone else

i apologies for the some what spam things left to do : stud conversion rear diffuser design and make front clam replace fit rear clam fit exhaust box fit new seat frames then drive it
