cliffie wants Joe to have this fitted, along with a spare engine in the boot and a spare gearbox in the passenger seat

Quite the opposite is true. I want Joe to be as light and competetive as possible, it will make it sweeter when I smack his little bottom at Brands.

This car is looking incredible. I had no idea until I just read your insurance post that you're just a few months older than me, hats off to your knowledge of these cars and good luck sorting some insurance out! The fire spitting exhaust is something else.

36 MPG at 70 MPH sounds about right, thats approx what I've had out of mine at all levels of tune.

right to make it fit for its first outing saturday if the weather is fine, it needs this doing: exhaust heatshield box tidy up fuel tank pipes to canister rear clam fit roll bar cover bootlid and hinges (gay na one for now) spoiler cam cover breather pax seat re fit dash plates make and fit rear diffuser splitter (only if there is a SECURE way of fitting the front splitter without drilling a hole in the clam! (still for sale by the way ;) ) then its already :) bits and bobs to do over next month or so are: swap seat subframes swap airbag for dummy airbag and fit appropriate resistor to avoid the air bag light being on full time oh and ecu remap to see how the engine is doing :D chinky chinky
