One think I want to check is I am not certain we need the size of pulley we have on, should drop it down one and see if we still get the same bhp without the whine, thinking maxed out intake, love the clams

Oh, I didn't realise you were buying Martynas's old clams, we could have gone halves on postage :o/

Mine still havent arrived yet, but have been told to expect them today to tomorrow.

Glad to hear the front is only 5 KG - that is really very light.

I think you'll find that you'll need to space out your existing wheels so they fill out the arches properly, or possibly buy some really wide wheels. I was talking to Image Wheels at the show - they have some LOVELY 3 piece billet machined wheels... we could possibly negotiate a deal if we buy together. Once the new bodywork is on, my bodywork man is going to measure up the new space under the arches, I am secretly hoping to squeeze 18" rims with 10" width on the rears and 8" on the front. That should allow for 275mm on the rear and 235 on the front, probably with 35% or 30% profile. I am keen to keep the rolling radius of the rears relatively low to help reduce the overall gearing, but need to fill the arches out so it doesnt look mad.

Blimey, that's going to look angry out on track!!!!!! Nice work. So what power are going to be running then? And at what weight? I would have thought you'll be running at least, if not more power than me, similar weight and tonnes of aero. And I'll be in Pro. Which begs the question.......................... What the hell are you doing entering Club Challenge? Surely, you'll totally destroy everything too easily , no?

Joe can't drive though. :P

Seriously though, will be interesting to see what happens and whether he (or any of the others) get bumped up under the 105% rule, like you did.

hopefully it will be running just shy of 400 thats the plan anyway :tt: probably around the 850ish kg mark but will get it weighed once its run in

i know i can strip about 15-20kgs fairly easily but its my road car so quite like it to look fairly good inside and out :D

took the car out for a drive today, was going to see vocky, but my thermostat was stuck shut  so i am ringing eliseparts up to ask why the feck a new one is doing this :angry2: as i run there plastic thermostat housing

the thing is they cant move me up as i dont have a rollcage :P

Surely that is not time attacks problem if you don't have a rollcage though if they bump you up?

Was going to ask if that was a requirement for the Pro classes. What happens though if you are within 105% all the time? Surely if you can't feasibly make Pro regs during the season, they won't kick you out all together?

Have they sorted the tyres yet?

Well I got bumped up into the next class and I only had a 4 point cage. The thing is, if the tyre situation remains the same as reported, club will be on the same as last year and club pro on road legal track tyres. Therefore the chances of you getting within 5% of the class above is unlikely. Still though, in theory you will beat everyone fairly easily. I only found out the other day that in 2010 when I won, my car was only running 320bhp ish, not the 380 ish that I thought it was. The Supras I beat were 950bhp and 800 bhp. This year I will hopefully be running 380bhp and my car isn't that light anymore, so I'd expect you to be lapping roughly the same as me, give or take...........
