on the temperature monitoring front, is there no way of relayign this back to the pit and then having an intercom set up to the driver to relay and info as and when/if it is needed?

There is dave but id rather not have joe telling us things when he will be concentrating onjust driving. Best option is just get the scangauges chain linked to record the the maxium values of the ones we want to know and just monitor them when he comes into pit.
