Hmmm optional speed sensor sounds pretty good! Will have to look into that!

I'm going to fit an Led Chav light to it and put it on the dash somewhere so i can make sure that it is working! Also looking at fitting a timer to it or over ride so that I can keep it on after track abuse while the engine is off :)

I think Davies craig has made just the thing you need thumbsup
Link to the gadget =]

Edit: You can hear it running when the ignition is turned on but once the engine is running its best to have a water temp guage to know if its still running ;)

It will definately have a water temp gauge, probably incorporate the original housing :) Will check the link out when I'm not on the iphone or at work  Thanks for that :) Although I think te route of a lightweight bike battery may have to go out the window!

It wouldn't surprise me if there were holes in the floor, most other things seem to have been badly installed at one time or anotherPosted Image

So you're fitting 8,9 compression Wiseco pistons together with a Saab B207 head gasket (which is thicker than the standard 2,2 gasket). That brings you to about 8,5:1 compression. A bit low for an SC, not? Especially with hotter cams that tend to lower dynamic compression... Time for a Harrop.

How much have you budgeted for this build Joe? If you don't mind me asking. Your car looks absolutely mint!

indeed i have mr exmantaa, i will be wanting a harrop maybe treat myself for my birthday in may ;) i got a charger with 2.8 pulley on it at the moment so should crank the boost up enough to compensate for a b207 gasket :) Ben, to be fair its gone over budget  and remember pretty much labour free! i may py yselfith a harrop when its finished though
