You're going to be in trouble if you go through Suffolk to get to CMS, not exactly quiet your exhaust is it? Loving the bodywork.

I am not certain about this I have the same with the 2ublar 3" inch setup I have the original cat where as Joe doesn't I THINK. my back box is the original one Jim made some time ago,Joe's is longer, although I haven't driven mine yet it doesn't sound loud, why is Joe's that much louder????

PS LOVE the body work Joe the way the splitter forms into the clam is

A crap photo

But a photos none the less of the trial fit for the skirts.

These will be bolted in place so that if damages can be easily removed and repaired

What are you going to fill those arches with? :P

Oh how ironic............

Polished, waxed and paint sealed. Killed 3 hours.

probably can only make 1 splitter out of one sheet, due to the width needed :( sorry bud, i can transport one to your house sometime if you like though?

my plastic windows arrived today, both sides and rear window, allow i will probably hang on to the rear window until i get REALLY bored

Posted Image

Today was allocated to work on MaxR's car so we went about stripping all the parts down (mainly for electric water pump and 6 rib belt) but even after buying the parts it takes alot of work to customise them by senior vocky Imnotworthy so after this we then got to the point where we where bored and there was a dremel and a drill around

so we decided to fit the side skirts, which i trial fitted during in the week and although they semi fitted the doors didnt open  so we dremelled some fiberglass off and then drilled the sill (YES my lovely armourfended calypso sills have been drilled and jacknut'd!!! :P purists :P )

Posted Image

Posted Image

then we realised we where still bored and vocky WANTED TO CAUSE MAYHEM!!!!!

Posted Image

so i popped to the shop and bought some p40  and found him cutting loads of slots into the rollbar of the clam  Vocky thinks it was taken out of the mould to early and it dried in a different place, so he cut it (not even i had the guts to cut it  ) but he just got on with it! and then glassed it into the correct place

roll on sparky's ;) so we made a rear cage :D :tt:

Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image

so what needs doing now is re-inforcing under neath, sanding top back, then fit the rear clam, using 2 bolts on the roll bar going into jack nuts, 2 catches for the sides, spoiler struts

cant thank vocky enough for helping me do this as it really did need it and was out of my league as i havenever used p40 before but i will be using it all the time from now on :D :tt:

so in true .org style here is a list of whats left to do:

make diffuser
fit spoiler
make and fit front splitter
attach rear clam
bootlid pins and spray bootlid after a bit of trimming
finish of bonnet pins
fit roof
fit doors
oil change :)
then go over the body with a can of matt black for any scratches caused

chinky chinky
