Bigger injectors with a lower fuel pressure and a nice map should see well over 400 bhp

Honestly, if joe's car is around the 400hp mark, I'm sure a Walbro 255 will not be enough... add the SC parasitic losses and the rich target AFR, and you're way more exigent than the "500hp stoichiometric AFR capable" walbro claims

a very basic one, but nevertheless. The hose between manifold and fpr cannot collapse? (ie vacuum type)

thats interesting alanoo i bought the pro alloy tank as i wanted to avoid the swirl pot issue as i dont want the weight nor to complicate something i should have just bought that tank in the first place :beat: will hopefully swap it in 2 weeks i will probably do a shake down trackday as afterall i still have 300bhp all beit with a 4.5ishk rpm  this was with the 2.9" pulley on the harrop really need to thank cms for helping me out today, did numerous runs then investigated it and help trouble shoot but everything is pointing at the pump.... just a shame there isnt a way to plumb in a pump with the existing tank.... also managed to take the front clam off in minutes to tie it down properly to the rolling road. after speakign to them about possible bhp output apparently nick has been restricted to 377 so i imagine i will be the same. to go to the next level i need to chaneg injectors but i dont have the time nor the money to invest in all the r+d and setup of the new injectors so ill save that for after cms unless i need it  unfortunately loading it onto the trailor i now need to fix the holes holding the splitter on  big big big thanks to articmonkey who trailored my car to cms and back Imnotworthy Imnotworthy (apparently he wants to join the clique... said i would think about it :P  ) splam your car is fecking mint!!! Imnotworthy i had a good old noisy round that bugger and cant believe you stored it for so long :9mm: need to paint your wishbones though :P

Glad you seem a bit more up beat! I hope you have your 18's in time for any shakedown . . . subtle enough for you? :P Im confused, I thought the PA tank meant you don't need a swirl pot as its baffled but now you say you do? I know im getting my wires crossed somewhere but i just don't know where

the 48L pro alloy tank i have now is baffled and has one way valves that lead to the standard fuel pump canister as i have maxed this fuel pump out i need to use the daddy bosch 044 pump. i have 2 options option 1 - have the oem pump feeding a 1L swirl pot then a bosch 044 swirl pot feeding the fuel rail option 2 - fit a different 48L pro alloy tank that has 2 sets of one way valves that send all the fuel into a middle compartment which then has a outlet at the bottom which can then be plumbed straight to a bosch 044 pump which then goes straight to the fuel rail :)

A recommended mod to the nobles is to use the standard pump wiring to activate a relay and the pump is then supplied by beefier wires directly from the battery through the relay. This is because at high RPM the pump can struggle with the voltage its getting and run lean. Something similar?

Joe they are taking my tank out, would of had yours off you if your VX was still there. BTW does the 48 litre tank still enable the little shelf to go back on as OEM?

ProAlloy baffle do not work as great as a swirl pot; honestly if you're serious about tracking the car like TA or something else, go for a swirl pot ! Btw, is the option 2 really available from Pro Alloy ? I know it was meant too, but never saw someone getting one...
