Not wrong ;)

Though I was in fact discussing soft top liners with the Mrs over My Steak dinner at lunchtime... She is also going to try and put some of these together - so should save some time.

However I may have had a wee delay dealt today - turns out the fabric supplier must have read the delivery date I requested wrong, as my best man noted a 'delivery note' when he popped round to feed the fish - unfortunately I am go to have to go and collect the fabric from the couriers depot - as they tried to del wry it twice, but no-on was in.

Needless to say that a 75cm (diameter) by 1m cylinder won't squeeze though the letterbox.

Get back early hours Tuesday, so will have to collect at the weekend. Am hoping that Mel and I can crack them out to Annette's standard, as it will help speed things up no end - not having to transport the stuff up o Newcastle and back - as well as to fit around her 'Grandma babysitting duties'

Back in track, first few to roll off Chateaux Mangham production line next week (all being well). Have ended up having to repurchase the material and pay a second load of shipping as the courier had taken the material back to the original supplier due to them having "delivery issues". Got recreditted the material costs, but not postage costs... So have moved back to my original supplier and should have the material in the coming few days.

Woohoo... material has landed:

Mel just looked at me in surprise and disappointment. Think she had forgotten how much material needs to be processed.

Nope... I over ordered, by a couple, on fabrics as I suspected that a few more may be desired.

Having ordered more material than I actually needed (with a view yo selling the lot of course) I am going revise the original estimate down to what i had hoped to do them for: Plain 6 panneled £36 Large Diamond £39 Diagonal £41 That will include P&P (Royal Mail 1st class). In essence I am only increasing the cost of these (compared to the last batch) for postage hikes. By not paying Annette to make them I have salvaged the largest expense back to help keep prices down... just means more work for me and the new Mrs.
