Buddy, sorry if this has been asked before but do you do a hard top version to cover the drab crap on the inside of that?

I did start to make them, but couldn't come up with an easy way to ensure that they really looked the part... As there is nowhere to tuck the edges in the side panels.

If you want to be the trial for it, I can make one up to my best guess for the right contours and then we can see how it fits to your hard top and if it needs adjusting all you would need to do is mark on the adjustments and post it back to me to alter.

How does that sound... Being sans VX I am at a bit of a loss regarding being able to test fit it myself, but I know you would be willing to give me straight feedback I am happy to work with you to create an template for use with others?

Be my pleasure and will cover costs. It just seems, and no I don't use my hardtop a lot, that the inside of those are drab as shite. Let's not worry about it now as such and maybe look toward the new year when I will have time on my hands to look at developing some style guides as such and see what comes of it.

Update:

The liner 'blanks' are made and ready for filling and quilting, so should hopefully be finished tonight and ready to post tomorrow.

The list below is what were requested, so if you are no longer still wanting one please say so... PM's to be sent out at lunchtime with requestes for postal addresses and payment info.

Goose - I will look to get the HT liner put together tonight (if I get time), if not I will do it on Tuesday.

PS. There is a further 5 soft top 'blanks' ready to be filled and quilted, so if you want one and haven't placed a request yet then do so now, before I advertise the spares on eBay.

At the moment the list for these stands as:

1. -JK- (Diamond)
2. Asheey (Diamond)
3. MrDCG/Dunk (Diamond)
4. TangoAlpha (DDiamond)
5. gettingfedup (Diamond)

Let me know if you're struggling. I got one and they're great but since I've got hardtops all over the house, my need for it is diminished right now. I've not been looking to get rid of it as it'll be handy for when I sort out my roof problem and manage to fit the good soft top but if you're in need I could probably sort you out at cost-price if Chris doesn't have stock or isn't in a "production phase." :D

I think I have one good one left (diamond patterned I believe), will have to double-check...

If I don't, I can always get the bosses mum to put me a few together when we see her for Mother's Day. ;)

Doh... Forgot to go up into 'the den' (attic room) and check there is still one up there ready to go. The price for the diamond is £39 (including P&P Royal Mail 1st Class).

I'll confirm I have one when I get home this eve (also need to put the new rowing machine in the attic) so will get back to you about it this eve.

Approximately £44 (That is Royal Mail AirMail service, as it is approximately £3 more to send), would need to weigh the soft top liners to be sure.

I have sent them to Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand before, but that was on the 'old Royal Mail pricing system'.

I don't believe I have a diagonal 'in stock', but can get one made up should you want one.

Thank you for the quick reply I'll probably go for a diagonal or a diamond one (does it change the price ?). I keep you posted :-)

Diamond does lower the price by £2.

The one I have is in fact the one Dunc returned as the first one I sent him wasn't quite right, so I will need to get Annette to make me some more. We are up in Durham next weekend so I should be able to get her to knock them out whilst we are up there.

Why... It wasn't right so it sits in the attic to remind me of the required dimensions for when my senility kicks in.

Besides it's good enough for a Lotus owner when I get a request off Selcoc.
