There are a couple of small bits where the the material has puckered on one side (machine hadn't pulled the material through evenly top and bottom) and one of the seams is thicker than it ought to be .

If you wanna take it and see you are welcome to... Though I would need an address PMing to me and we can go from there.

What is the cost for a diagonal to be shipped in belgium ?

I now have one made up ready to go. Low and behold you have got a 1off diamond, as Annette now seems to have alzheimers and forgot her pattern sizes. So you have got the fancier diamond (smaller).

It is a half way house between the special one I did for Wreelybro and the regular diamond. It does look ace... so am going to convince Annette that was the old standard going forwards.

I have sent you a PM regarding this.

Plus... If anyone wants one going forward please let me know asap as I can hopefully get 2-3 more made up over Easter.

I have skimmed through this whole post and there was a hint that navy material may be used? is that still an option?

Not realy - It is was an option, but I never went down that route as the price for 2m of the stuff was too much including delivery costs. (Would be looking at an additional £15+ per liner, for the quality/type required to sew well for a one-off). Additionally I asked for a sample and the stuff that arrived was not what I would call Navy Blue, more a dark royal blue.

Obviously you have first refusal, but if you don't still want it I will have to shift it on anyway.

Hey all (traveller returns, briefly),

 

Following a message I have had on eBay, I am going to speak with Annette about knocking up another batch of soft top liners. Material prices have seemingly increased a little, but I will stand the difference as I am sure the supplier I used owes me a favour or two.

 

Now... I will see if they have any other colours of material, as I know there were requests.

 

I am unsure exactly how quick I can turn these around, so I would suggest a lead time of a couple of months, so I can get material in, check it, take it up to Durham and then get Annette to make them up, collect them, check them again and then pack and send out.

 

So I will offer these out at £40 each, irrespective of pattern choice to save on the hassle.

 

So please PM me if interested (as I will see my e-mail notifications that day), as I don't really visit this site anymore.

Not a problem at all. I don't do these to make money, as I generally make about a pint per pair from them- so feel free to take the one Will has.

Update: Options for colours are as follows: Black Royal Blue Navy Blue Cerise (Pink) Red (Crimson) <- asked for a sample as I am not sure it is the VX roof crimson red I have , so far, managed to agree for the blue fleece material to be supplied at the same price as the black, but the other colours look like they will incur a £1 premium

Update: Material has been ordered for the following:

 

5 x Black

5 x Navy Blue

5 x Terracota Red

2 x Grey (1 left)

 

I should receive it in the next few days. The red has been a bitch to sort the right colour, and I have had to just chance it with the Terracota from a new supplier, as I have had no dealings with them before and they couldn't send a sample.
