Received mine and I'm really pleased. Although my soft top has started leaking recently, so I'm taking it out over night! Doh

Glad to hear it in one respect.... In what way is the soft top leaking?

Right guys and gals, I have just finished packing up the next bunch of orders... Was hoping to get it done by 9pm and send out PMs to all those in the next wave, but just finished now and need to head to bed... Gotta be up at 6am for my proper job! I will be taking all these to the postoffice tomorrow, but will PM all those I have sent to as soon as I get back from Her Majestys Postal Service. There are a few remaining orders to be finished by Annette, was hoping to have all of the remaining orders done by the time I had to leave the North East this weekend, but alas the sewing machine decided to play up and help up proceedings. These will be done in the next few days and she is going to pack them up and post them herself which will save you having to wait until I get back OopNorth next weekend. If I go quiet it is because I have a massive essay to write in the next 9days and not started it trying to get these sorted... Either that I might take my somewhat neglected of late VX out for a drive. Mangham54

Just a quick note to say I have PMd all those I have just posted Soft Top Liners to. The rest will be done as soon as they are made this week. Sorry for the delays.

the liner makes the interior a much nicer place to be at this time of year, but my roof also started to leak after fitting the liner. Its dripping in at the drivers side at the top of the A piller. I'll strip the liner out and have a look to see what may be causing it but I think it could be that I've "tucked in" a tiny bit too much of the liner below the rigid side panel of the roof itself.
We'll see what comes of my investigations......

Am sorry to hear this... I have had absolutely no bother with mine, but my NA does have the Turbo seals... Which may help. However if it didn't leak before then I can only think that the corner of the liner is lifting the edge of the soft top.... Where the tensioner pulls the flap tight to the seal. If that's the case double check that the liner isn't encroaching on the part of the seal that the tensioner should sit it, or if you are brave (and the cable doesn't feel that tight as you clip down the roof) adjust the tensioner bit by bit until it forms a better seal.

Alternatively if it is the corner of the liner being a bit thick try twisting it round 180* as the opposing corners have a different thickness due the the way in which we had to sew them up. Worst case scenario if all that doesn't sort it drop me a PM with a mobile number and I'll give you a ring and we can sort out other options.

Sorry that was confusing! I meant my soft top randomly started leaking before I fitted the soft top liner. It did this when it I first bought it but Fabsil fixed it for about 7 months.

My car definitely feels warmer and quieter with the liner in. Big improvement!

Hi Chris, I've already got turbo seals on mine but you were right about the problem, it was that I had tucked in too much material and the soft top was lifted a faction as a result. I simply took the liner out and refitted. All is perfect once more! thanks once again for a great product

Mangham, the liner is brilliant! It's a 2 minute job to fit and definitely made a difference to the heat retention in the car. Despite a cold start this morning on the way to work, I was able to turn the heater down towards the end of my journey- the first time I've done so for a good few weeks! Thanks again! Enzo

Well hello..... Me again

I have just got off the phone with Annette and three more of the orders are about ready and should be in the post on Thursday, the rest will hopefully be done on Thursday or Friday.

As for GiGo's special.... she want's me to have a look at it first before I send it as it rustles like a good'un and is a bit difficult to fold/roll up. So it may be Saturday before I can get a look at it. I'll drop you PM and if you can leave me your mobile number we can have a chat on the phone.

However....... What I came on to say was:

From the initial interest there are three 'Plain' liners that I have had back word on..... People selling cars   So if anyone wants one super-quick and hasn't already ordered one drop me a PM quick sharp as these will be listed on eBay in the next 24hours. Having had to up the prices, as I was starting to (personally) lose money on these, I can do can have these packed and sent asap to anyone wanting one.... For £30 (including P&P). The eBay price will be a few quid more than this plus P&P. So they are still going to be a bargain... you will save at least £8. thumbsup
