As for GiGo's special.... she want's me to have a look at it first before I send it as it rustles like a good'un and is a bit difficult to fold/roll up. So it may be Saturday before I can get a look at it. I'll drop you PM and if you can leave me your mobile number we can have a chat on the phone.

hehehe, 'GiGo's special' I like that. Even if it's hard to fold/roll, the heat retention should be great!

Regards

GiGo

All the back orders for these will be finished in the next couple of hours... So if you are expecting one from me then it should be in the post on Monday... So long as I can get back from the NorthEast to Wakey with the snow we are having up here! I have promised Annette a little break (a week or so) before I ask her to do any more. So if you want one, let me know... As still have the three plain ones on eBay available and will take orders for a future batch of the fancier stitches to be made in a week or so... PM me if interested.

Hey guys, After promising Annette a week off making any further liners and having posted the final two out (WillT and GiGo) I would like to offer these back up for sale again. I have just today listed some on eBay - but will sell directly through here once again if people want them. They will have to be at the newer prices but are still a bargain in comparison to eBay. PM me your interest. Mangham54

Hello all, I know I have exhausted this subject a lot recently... however I still have material left over from the original group buy so I can still offer some of these up for sale.... Options: 1. The plain for £30 (inc. postage) 2. The diagonal stitch £35 (inc. postage) 3. The diamond stitch for £38 (inc postage) I will be listeing some more of these on eBay in a fortnight (not going to see the future mother in-law until she comes to view a wedding venue on the 22nd) so if you want can you drop me a PM and I will get Annette to make one up for you before the material runs out (after I have finished off this first roll I will have to put up the prices a touch £1-£2, again, as the suppliers keep pushing thier bloody prices up grrr ) Mangham54

Following some interest in the development of a hard top liner (as a revision of the soft top liners) I am going to investigate how easy/hard these would be to make. I would plan that they will be a single or double skin fleece liner, with a similar preference of stitching that should more easily take to the contours of the hard top. So if anyone is interested in one of these say 'Eye' as I will need to order some more material and therefore the more I can justify buying the cheaper these canbe turned out for. thumbsup.

Big thumbsup to Jonnyboy and his wife for allowing me to pop round and get some dimensions and markings on a price of fabric to investigate making some hard top liners. My initial thoughts are that they are definitely doable, but throwing a pattern into the mix may not look quite as fancy. Basically as the fabric follows the contours the pattern would follow this and therefore not produce perfectly straight lines, but if that wasn't a big issue then a single skin would follow the hardtop contours easier, but a double skin would reduce the twist on the patterns as one skin would stick to the HT directly and the second skin would stretch to produce better, more straight, pattern. So next step will be to get Annette to make up a demo item (based on Jonnyboys OEM replicas) and then go from there.

Sounds good Mangham. Personally a single skin lining would be fine and no need for a pattern. Let me know when Annette has worked her fingers to the bone. She's not making the Wedding dress is she?

Nah that is being made by a sepcialist locally (costing ££££), but she is likely to be doing the bridesmaids / flower girls dresses. ;)

EYE might be as well. I'm loving the amount of noise cut out by my soft top liner. Might as well give the new hardtop a matching liner!

If you are quick... Then as below:

The item is listed on Fleabay at the moment http://cgi.ebay.co.u...T#ht_989wt_1141 the reason for the cheapness on here is because I would require you to stand the PayPal fees yourself and will save on the eBay sellers fee on top of the PayPal. PM if interested. thumbsup
