Looking to get my turbo alloys reconed in black. There seems to be a few colour choices, matt, satin and gloss. Would be great if any owners could post up some pics if they have had that done.

Not jet black, but black with a hint of blue. They're gloss. I didn't spray them, but bought them about 5 years ago for a steal.

Found this image in members gallery. Belongs to 'Andy P D'. Not sure what the colour is though.

Mine are gloss jet black (factory option) to match my black turbo ears and boot spoiler. I'll be selling them shortly if interested? :)

Thanks for the photos guys. Planning on getting the V, window frame and boot spoiler wrapped black. May do the ears also, might be too much though...

There was no black factory option on VXT wheels. The NA Lightening Yellow (a Special Edition NA) came as standard with NA wheels but in black. And the VXR came standard with black Speedlines. But all other VXs only ever came with silver wheels.

Any VXT 'snowflake' wheels in other than silver have been resprayed.

Thought I recognised the bike tyre look. thumbsup
I had them on my fronts before and plan to put them on again. Good tyres, but limited places will fit them.

My mate fitted them for me. Getting them on the rim wasn't too bad. Hardest part was getting the bead to seat on the rim. Took 3 of us pushing on the tyre to eventually seat it!

The first time I had the tyres put on it took 2 massive fat guys jumping on a 2meter long bar to get them on. Next time a guy used the correct machine and had them on in 2mins.
