But what is the benefit of the Z20NHH then?
Forged crankshaft.
Forged con-rods.
More material around the cylinders for higher compression.
Direct injecton.
Variable fuel rail pressure (drive off the cam-shafts).
Twin scroll turbo-charger.
If you bought a new one, the only internal mod you would need to do is change the pistons, so very tuner (and wallet) friendly.
I don't know what engine mount points it would have, as in the USA it is mounted in-line with the gearbox leading to a prop-shaft. On a VX you would need to install a different gearbox and hence that would be an issue.
If you wanted to build a kit car (eg Westfield, Caterham etc) with front engine and rear wheel drive it would be an ACE engine and gearbox to start with.

It's just steam. Electric water pump control problem. The engine did not withstand.

Mostly ford and V8 stuff but worth an email.
I thought a helical gear was stronger as each tooth is longer and has more metal conecting it to the gear. Perhaps my thinking is a bit off.
Can vouch for gearboxman. Used him to repair my noisy Gertag box on my old E34 M5. Received wisdom at the time said this box was impossible to repair, however this guy was recommended to me by my mechanic and did an excellent and reasonable job.

Ohh Martynas, what happened to your old engine ?
Let's hope that trusty old Z20LET gets you past the finish line ;o)
When is your Z20NHH engine going in - before the next season? Who will do you mapping for it, because it is much more complex to map with direct injection... ?
Do you have a blog/pgress website that we can follow please ?
During the 1000km race engine overheated, unfortunately parts from the USA arrived just last week. So we did Reswap Z20LET for last event of the national championship and won the third place overall.
The next season be sure to NHH.
Website in progress.

Which engine are those bits of metal going in - surely not the Z20LET ?!
Actually no. I don't like cast iron- without offence Nev

That's a gasket for a direct injection engine, so think aluminium 2.0 Ecotec LNF (or is that called NHH?)

Please can you get some of your 'dolly girls' to do the engine rebuild and take lots of photos of them bending over and getting oily for us !! LOL
How come you are replacing the rods on the LNF - they OEM ones are already forged I heard?
Who will do you mapping for it please, as I don't know anyone in Europe who has even tried on this engine as it is quite new.
Under GM Racing guys stock rods a well to 400hp, so just in case
In this technological time Tuner does not have to be near the car
