yea, ive done all the first season events, im just working through the 2nd season, ive done the nascar one in 1st and come 2nd on the rx7 one and ive not tried racing any of the others. that lemans race was 3 laps. time was set to 60 so every hour was infact a minute.

for the RX7 race try this - Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) '02 - Stage 3 weight Reduction/windows/carbon hood (1051Kg) - Rigidity Improvement - Added all aero parts (set to 0/28) - Fully custom transmission (set to 193mph) - Sports Intake Manifold + Racing Air Filter - Sports ECU + Stage 2 Engine Tuning (394 HP) - Catalytic converter + Titanium Semi-racing exhaust - Fully custom Suspension (Ride Height -20/-20, Springs 16.0/6.3, Dampers 10/5, 10/5, ARB 4/4, camber 2.0/2.0, toe 0/0) - Twin clutch plates + Carbon propeller shaft + Semi-racing flywheel - Brakes set to 8/9 - Tyres were Sports Hard as standard - ABS 1, TC 0, SRF off, ASM off, Driving line off - MOST IMPORTANTLY - painted the car Matte Yellow I know it's a great deal of cash to spend, but I wanted the car anyway due to amazing fun had in GT5 Prologue, I wanted it in yellow, and I wanted a souped up one regardless. This was a perfect excuse and bloody hell it was all very necessary to win this race. What you will find is that if you're getting a good deal out of the car you should be running 1'00.xxx laps all the way through, best lap here was 1'00.000 but 59s are easily do-able even without Skid Recovery, ASM, TCS etc. You will typically knock about 3 seconds per lap off the leading Skyline and on lap 10 he catches the Fairlady Z backmarker that slows him down a LOT and you will make up much more time on Lap 10. On the exit of the corner that leads onto the back straight on lap 10 I got really out of shape and on the grass, but still managed to re-pass the SKyline into the last corner.

Cheers for the info, I tried doing it with the older rx 7 you have to use in the 1st section. Always have everything turned off and as a result I spent my 10 laps pretty sideways doing 1:04's.

you guys started any of the endurance races yet? (were those mx5 pics from the first endurance race?) Im upto lvl25, so just unlocked the endurance section... Also, i race spec'd the ZR1 (great drive), but out of interest does anyone know what other cars you can race spec? Is there a list somewhere (I couldn't find it). thanks.

Really don't have time for the endurance races. 60 laps of Grand Valley looks like the shortest!!! That's a couple hours work!

I have bought an F1 car (cost me 4.6mil) have the races to do on the extreme series, guess i'll do that first...I just heard you cant save during on the endurance series...hard to find that many spare hours in one go these days with this thing called 'work'...(uni days it wouldn't have been such a problem )

I can especially recommend the Z28 RM '69. It sounds dirrrteee through my sound system with the volume cranked up to 11.

Are there any .org races organised? Havent done any races online at all but have ps3, GT5 and internet connection...

Some of the bonus races were tough yes but removing the limitations is a touch disappointing. I'm trying to keep them tough.
