So I've been playing this for a few weeks now and am loving it thumbsup In terms of how realistic it is though - I'm not so sure. I've been racing against fully raced prepped cars (including Zondas and XJ220's) in my moderately pimped 458 and I seem to be walking over all of them. Maybe the settings are on easy  Also - none of my cars appear to look damaged but when I go into the 'shop', it's saying I need to spend uber credits to get the cars back up to scratch. Is there a setting I need to change. I must admit - I just turned it on and started playing without taking any notice of settings. It also keeps trying to get me to download an update, which at my connection speed suggests it'll take about 8 hours :beat:

Damage isn't unlocked til later levels, don't know what level u r but I am level 30 and I have it!

Don't bother with engine rebuilds or rigidty stuff I haven't!

Do B-Spec drivers ever get good? Both of mine are at level 6 at the moment and they are still 10 seconds a lap slower than me. I want them to be racing in more advanced races but they keep getting their arses kicked. When I tell them to overtake they have a go but if the driver in front defends they just give up thumbsdown

Eventually yes they do get better but I know what u mean sometimes they don't seem to want to take a gap and overtake

It's so boring (b spec) I did 2 races and couldn't be arsed anymore. I did give them a 240bhp vxt, spinning on every corner did amuse for about 1 second.

Is it just me that finds the Elises in the Top gear track intermediate level a nightmare? They are so twitchy, I spend all my time op locking to correct.

Agreed they are very twitchy, satisfying when you win though.

Agreed, they are extremely twitchy. Plus, it reminds me that I need to go back and win that event, I managed to get silver quite quickly but gave up trying to get gold because I'd do about a lap and a half and then spin which infuriated me.

The Elise challenge is difficult to drive because the standard tyre for the Elise is the 'Sports Hard' but the challenge forces you to equip 'Comfort Hard' which is three tiers lower in rank. It's the same principal as putting something like Zonda tyres on an F1 car, it would become undrivable at anything aproaching the speed the car is designed for. It's the only challenge I had to put all the assists on for.

Anybody won the gtr trophy. Not attempted it yet but I can imagine it's pretty tough. Mostly because I don't know the ring very well :D

This may have been mentioned before (couldn't be arsed to read the whole thread) but did the developers not think that uprated brakes would be an option people might like as well as HUGE power upgrades. Was the game developed by 17yr old Saxo drivers :gayfight:

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I turned the stability control on and it made it very easy to get gold Posted Image

Currently struggling with the Vettel challenge in the X1. You either need the reactions of a house fly, or to drive it purely on rhythm anticipating the corners before they are actually there. Posted Image
