Shame I can't display the 3D ones as they look tremendous.

Yes I know I said the 3D was sh** and it is in the cockpit view, however switch to the bumper cam and it is incredible. Although it does take twice as long to do any races as I always have to watch and drool over the replay...

Fcuk me mate. this game looks awesome! Ok. This Christmas, if I don't manage to get a VX, I'll buy a PS3, a good steering wheel and GT5 as a consolation prize. Blimey!

The premium models in the game are insanely detailed. Right down the screw-heads holding in the sidelight on that McLaren! Couldn't tell the difference from reality in those shots tbh. What colour is the VX shot above? Been trying to find a colour that looks like Le Mans Green and that's pretty much spot on.

It's British Racing Green Metallic that you can spec on a premium Mini Cooper S '05. I was hoping it would look more like BRG on the VX but as you say it looks far more like LMG.

i think i'm getting this for christmas from my folks, i cant wait.. I have a VX in every class on forsa (C to R3) the grafix look like they far outrank forsa, however i hope its as reaistic!

As soon as I get the money, I'll buy the PS3 and the game... @Chris_UK; is the NSX you bought standard (meaning you buy it like that not Standard/premium thingy) or did you tuned it? I forget what mine is putting out, it's either 350 or 385 ish. Goes fairly well though as you can reduce the weight down to about 860kg.

The whole family are spending Christmas Day at my Aunt's new pub. Her son-in-law is bringing his PS3 and a projector for a big GT5 gaming session. In order to not look a useless cnut, I've just gone and bought a PS3 320 with GT5 and some other games (thankyou Nectar points). What do I need to know about this console and GT5 works, in order not to do my usual and get bored after precisely 3.5 minutes?

Ha ha, yeah, I thought exactly the same thing, it must have shown a massive selection of the cars from the game, it went on for ages.

Still, it's miles better than watching any of the other ads on TV.

Depending on how entertaining the game is I might turn it off an fire up the PS3 for a few races.

I've just ended up ordering a ps3 slim and GT5, couldn't resist it any more

Although probably not the best idea as i don't have a job at the moment... how long can you survive without eating?
